What’s on My 2025 Race Calendar

2025 is going to be an amazing year for my running journey, and I can’t wait to dive into these races. From my first marathon to running through more National Parks, here’s what’s on my calendar and why I’m so pumped about it.

Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend 5K

This is a dream come true - my first Disneyland race! I’ve done Disney races before, but never in Disneyland, so I’m over the moon about finally checking this off my list. Running through the parks before they open, seeing characters along the course, and soaking in all the Disney magic? It’s going to be amazing. I’m already counting down the days!

What makes this race even more meaningful is that I’m running to support Kesem, an organization that provides free support to children impacted by a parent’s cancer. I love being able to combine my passions for running and Disney with doing something good for others. If you’d like to support my fundraiser and help me make a difference, you can donate through my page here. Every little bit helps, and I’m so grateful for your support!

Surf City Marathon

This will be my first marathon! Surf City feels like the perfect spot for such a big milestone with its beautiful ocean views and mostly flat course along the Pacific Coast Highway. The training has been intense, but I’m ready for the marathon. Crossing that finish line for the first time will definitely be one of the highlights of my year (maybe even my life!).

Vacation Races Zion Trail Half Marathon

Running near Zion National Park? Yes, please. This will be my first trail half marathon, and I’ll be doing it with my friend Kristen, which makes it even better. We’re looking at camping nearby, maybe at South Campground in Zion, Quail Creek State Park, or even the KOA in St. George. I know it’s going to be tough - trail races always are - but the views will make every step worth it.

Bear Lake Trifecta (Wyoming and Idaho)

The Bear Lake Trifecta has been on my bucket list for years, and I’m finally making it happen! I’ll be running the Wyoming and Idaho races since Utah will already be checked off my list by then. What makes this even more exciting is that Ryan and I are turning it into a road trip, camping with our TentBox, and we’re capping it off with the Yellowstone Half Marathon. A week or two of exploring, running, and adventuring!

Vacation Races Yellowstone Half Marathon

Capping off our Bear Lake Trifecta trip, the Yellowstone Half Marathon is the perfect way to end an incredible adventure. Running near one of the most iconic National Parks in the country feels will be adventure to remember. The course is known for its stunning scenery and challenging terrain, and I’m looking forward to testing my limits while surrounded by Yellowstone's natural beauty. Plus, I'll be able to check Montana off my list of 50 States to run! I can already imagine how rewarding that finish line is going to feel!

Disneyland Halloween Weekend 10K and Half Marathon

This is my comeback race. The last time I did a Disney challenge was in 2022. I was under trained and the whole experience was less than I had hoped for. I’m ready for my challenge come back! Halloween at Disneyland should be such a vibe - the decorations, the costumes, the spooky energy - and I can’t wait to experience it all while taking on the 10K and Half Marathon. It’s going to be so much fun, and I’m determined to enjoy every second of it this time.

Why I’m So Excited

Each of these races means something special to me. Whether it’s a first, a comeback, or a chance to explore somewhere new, 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year. I love that running gives me these opportunities to push myself, see beautiful places, and create amazing memories.

If you’ve done any of these races, I’d love to hear your tips - or just let me know which one you’re most excited to hear about!
